Omnexa provides email marketing, campaign management, and automation services to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use Omnexa in connection with your Shopify store.

1. Information We Collect

When you install Omnexa, we are automatically authorized to access certain information from your Shopify account via Shopify APIs to deliver our email marketing features:

• Merchant Information: Your name, email address, store name, primary domain, store address, phone number, and account preferences.

• Customer & Subscriber Data: Information about your store’s customers, including email addresses, names, purchase history, order values, abandoned checkout data, and interaction history necessary to execute targeted email campaigns and automations.

• Technical & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device details, and log data related to how you and your store visitors interact with Omnexa scripts and campaign links.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information collected to fulfill the email marketing services offered by Omnexa, including:

• Synchronizing subscriber lists, order history, and customer segments.

• Triggering automated workflows (such as Abandoned Cart, Welcome Series, and Post-Purchase emails).

• Generating campaign performance analytics (such as open rates, click rates, and revenue metrics).

• Communicating with you regarding system updates, billing, customer support, and feature improvements.

3. Sharing Your Personal Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data or your customers' data to third parties. We only share information with trusted third-party cloud service providers (such as secure database hosting and email dispatch gateways) required to operate the App. All service providers are bound by strict confidentiality and security agreements.

We may also disclose personal data to comply with applicable laws and regulations, respond to a subpoena, or protect our rights.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

• Active Usage: We store your store and customer data for as long as Omnexa is installed on your store.

• Uninstall & Compliance Webhooks: If you uninstall Omnexa, we process deletion in accordance with Shopify’s Mandatory Compliance Webhooks (customers/redact, shop/redact, and customers/data_request). All store data and customer records are permanently deleted or anonymized within 48 hours to 30 days of uninstallation.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard encryption, secure API protocols, and administrative controls to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or misuse of your store's and customers' personal information.
